The International Bottom Trawl Survey (IBTS) takes place in the North Sea and has the objective to collect data for the assessment of fish stocks, investigating changes in the ecosystem. The
selected trainee will support researchers from the National Institute of Aquatic Resources (DTU Aqua) to conduct deep-stratified demersal trawls and oceanographic measurements.
What does the fellowship consist of?
• Participation in the 17-day (15 Aug-2 Sep 2022) cruise onboard the R/V Dana

• Round-trip from home country to Denmark

Who can apply?
Scientists, technicians, postgraduate students (PhD/MSc), post-doctoral fellows (with priority to early-career scientists) involved in oceanographic work in developing countries and countries with
economies in transition.
